The Need

Awareness of why errors occur and familiarity with the techniques to mitigate them enables an organisation to increase safety, improve performance and efficiency and protect profits. Accidents or incidents can be expensive in terms of resources, loss of output and income and have a negative impact on a company's reputation which may have long lasting effects on the business.

Our Approach

We ensure that each course is carefully structured and tailor made to meet your individual requirements. Our team of highly experienced instructors combine their own personal experiences with industry case studies to reinforce the key learning points delivered throughout our courses. Our instructors will facilitate discussions and debate whilst presenting core subjects. All delegates are encouraged to contribute freely and to share their own personal experiences; it is often these stories and the subsequent discussions that ensue that have the most impact amongst other delegates.

Courses

The aviation industry has led the way in Just Culture, Human Factors (HF) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training for many years. Improvements in safety and efficiency have been gained through investigation, analysis and evaluation of the mistakes that led to incidents occurring. An organisational shift away from a blame culture to one which objectively analyses why an incident occurred has led to individuals openly reporting errors thereby providing a better understanding of the underlying contributory factors. Many of the lessons learned in aviation are still being learned across most other industries from Healthcare to Finance.
